Basketball Mid Canterbury Representative Programme

Our Rep Programme gives talented players the chance to develop their skills, compete at a higher level, and represent Mid Canterbury with pride.

Competitions & Tournaments

• U14 Regionals

• National Qualifiers (U16 & U18 teams)

• Mainlands Tournament (U16 & U18/19)

• Rep Blitz (U16 & U18)

• One-Day Exchanges with South Canterbury

Development Pathways

• SIPT Teams – for Year 5/6 (3x3) and Year 7/8 (5v5) players to develop skills and game experience

• Rising Stars Teams – for U14 development players who do not attend regionals

What We Offer

Players in the Rep Programme receive:

• Structured training sessions with experienced coaches

• Opportunities to develop skills, teamwork, and confidence

• Exposure to high-level competition across the region and nationally

The programme is designed to challenge players, grow their game, and help them reach their full potential, while building strong, respectful teams that represent Mid Canterbury proudly.
