Mid Canterbury Ballers in Prems finals

Grace Adams, Ashlee Strawbridge and Sammy Arnold who grew up playing Basketball in Mid Canterbury faced off in the Womens Premier Grade final recently. It was a closely contested game with Lincoln University leading the majority of the game. Checkers managed to hit some big shots in the fourth quarter and pull ahead. Ashlee has been in the US playing Div 1 for the past three years and is enjoying being back in NZ playing with and against familiar faces
