Mid Canterbury Trio Shine at Mainland Eagles Camp

Tia, Mackenzie, and Sienna attended the Mainland Eagles Camp over the weekend in Rangiora, taking part in a high-level development environment alongside some of the region’s most promising young players.

A huge congratulations to all three athletes for the work they put in and for representing Mid Canterbury with pride, effort, and professionalism throughout the camp.

For those unfamiliar, the Mainland Eagles programme is a high-performance basketball pathway designed to support talented young athletes in their development. The programme focuses on advanced skill development, game understanding, and exposure, while helping players prepare for future opportunities at higher levels of the game. These pathways can include national squad selection, U.S. college opportunities, and progression into elite development environments.

Sienna earned special praise during the camp, receiving positive feedback from Rams coach Quinn Clinton for her intensity and consistency across sessions
